James-

In an effort to simplify RETS2 metadata, the Resource/Class model of RETS 1.x was combined into Resource for RETS2. So 'Property:RES' is now 'ResidentialProperty' and 'Agent:Agent' is 'Agent'.

Subject: [Rets-dev] RETS 1.x to RETS2 Resource question

Hello,
I'm relatively new to the RETS world and am trying to understand some of
the differences between RETS 1.x and RETS 2.

For example, in RETS 1.x, resources are a top level item, being broken
up by class of resource, with the requirement there will be at least one
class per resource available. In RETS 2, I see the ResourceList
containing a collection of resources, but don't see anything
representing a class specification. Did I miss something obvious?

Thanks in advance for any insight
