There was a google earth implementation out on the east coast that did
something like this.  I cant recall the site/developer

its also - 'does the MLS' allow it.

There is also a whole train of though as to why local storage may be
better suited.  Do the users have profiles where they can keep a
favorites list, or a search profile indication newest lisitngs, etc
etc.
