[Rets-dev] Object Resources in RETS 2.0

If I'm reading this right, if you have objects (i.e. photos), you must have
object resources, which are just resources that have as their output option
an Object Reference List instead of the various CSV formats.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to tie object resources to
resources, i.e. to indicate that "objects in Object Resource A are only
available to records in Resource B".

We have several resources (e.g. Residential, Commercial..nothing too out of
the ordinary), and each resources has its own set of possible photos. There
doesn't seem to be a way to represent this using the object resources. The
standard seems to imply listing the objects in the actual resource (e.g.
Residential) rather than in an isolated object resource isn't an option.

Does anybody have a solution to this problem? Can anyone provide any
insight as to what the design goal was with object resources?

Thanks.
