Hi Scott,

The RETS open source projects, such as the reference implementation, should all be based on the Apache license model. So you are free to take the code, modify it, and use it in any way you need.

The data was similarly created to be used in testing, demos, etc...to the best of my knowledge, when this set was provided by Bruce Toback in 2005, it did not contain any real listing information. You should be able to use it in your demo.

If you have any additional questions about the reference implementation, please let me know.

  Regards,

  Paula O'Brien

  Hello,

I downloaded the RETS reference implementation from here:

http://www.rets.org/cms/developer/resource

I was wondering what the licensing is for the server and the data? I
see license information on some individual source files, but most have
none, and I don't see an overall license.

In particular, I'm wondering if the license permits using the sample
data and images from the reference server to create a demo of my own
RETS server.

Thanks,

-----Scott.
