by a dash' in it...

I wouldn't have mentioned that too, as I have the same recollection.  But a
search through the 1.5 spec (at least via Preview on the mac) couldn't find
the section on X-

I just found it in 1.7 in section 15.4.  I'm not sure if its anywhere else.
 Its placement in 15.4 makes me seem only to apply to the ServerInfo
transaction.  I remember the intent of X- to apply to any of the metadata
items.  Bonus points to whoever can find it.
