[Rets-dev] User-Agent authentication

We are just starting to migrate clients to our RETS server, and we are 
looking at authentication.  Since different clients require different 
sets of fields, we were thinking of also authenticating the User-Agent 
in addition to the username/password.  Is this a common practice in the 
RETS 1.x community?  And if so, is User-Agent authentication going to be 
carried forth in the 2.0 spec?
